How to beat Rhydon in Pokemon Go

Rhydon is big powerful Pokemon that has high CP.  The commonness of Rhydon combined with the their high CP have caused Rhydon to be popular addition in gyms.  This prevalence however does not mean that Rhydon is a strong defender.  In fact I would say that Rhydon is a rather weak defender and can be removed from gyms rather easily.  We will break down strategies on how to beat Rhydon in the section below.  Rhydon is a descent attacking Pokemon and we use him often against the dreaded gym defender Blissey.  Rhydon is also a very good bubble Pokemon and we will discuss that strategy as well.

Lets learn the backstory of what Rhydon is.
Rhydon is an evolved form of Rhyhorn and looks a bit like a bipedal rhinoceroses.  Rhydon has few characteristics similar to a Dinosaur and few similar to Rhinoceroses.  The pokemon has strong defense and is a Ground / Rock hybrid type of pokemon.

Pokedex entry from Pokemon Red and Blue:

"Protected by an armor-like hide, it is capable of living in molten lava of 3,600 degrees."

Rhydon appears in the anime series in the episode "Riddle Me This" where Ash is pursing the Volcano Badge.  Ash battles the trainer Blaine who uses a Rhydon. Ash uses Pikachu against Rhydon even though Rhydon has a high defense against Electric Pokemon.  Pikachu manages to zap Rhydon on his horn which acts as a lightning rod and fries Blaine's Rhydon.

HOW TO BEAT Rhydon!

Rhydon COUNTER

Rhydon is technically both a Ground and Rock Pokeon

Dual type Pokemons are tricky! but Rhydon is pretty simple to break down because he has a ton of weaknesses.   Generally though Rhydon receives a double type disadvantage to Water and Grass attacks making those attacks double devastating against it.  This means that for all of Rhydon's Defensive prowess it has a huge Achilles heel that can be exploited very easily to bring it down.


Top Rhydon 5 Counters:

• Exeggutor
• Venusaur
• Victreebel
• Starmie
• Vaporeon

Mathematically Exeggutor is the best offensive counter to Rhydon followed by Venusaur.  These are great counters to Rhydon however not everyone has these Pokemon.  My general recommendation is to use Vaporeon.  Vaporeon is a very good counter to Rhydon and most players have at least one if not two high CP Vaporeons.

Another advantage with Vaporeon is that his defense is strong as well making him better suited to deal with Rhydon's attacks.

Generally, though a Grass or Water type pokemon will unleash a ton of damage on Rhydon due to the double type advantage and those pokemon will not need to use much defense because the match will be short.

The biggest thing to keep in mind is to make sure the Pokemon you use has Grass or Water type of attacks.

The Spartoi are an alien race in the Marvel Cosmic Universe.

Location:
Galaxy:  Shi'ar Galaxy  (Likely M33 Triangulum)
Star System:
Planet:  Spartax is the throne world.  Empire spread over hundred of planets.

Government:
Empire with an Emperor and council of ministers.  The current Emperor is J'son of Spartax.  The title of Emperor is passed down by heredity.  The previous Emperor was E'son who was the father of J'son.

Technology:
Advanced.  Includes warpdrive space ships, advanced power centers, shields, blasters etc.

Racial Make Up:
The Spartoi are said to have splintered off from the Shi'ar.  However, they appear to be humans.  They are different than humans on some level in that they have much longer lives.  J'son for example is middle aged and is over a 100 years old.  They do not appear to be stronger, or faster than humans.

History:
Not much is known other than they have an affiliation with the Shi'ar Empire and at one point splintered off.

The planet Spartax recieved some concept art for the movie Guardians of the Galaxy.  As Starlord's father is brought up multiple times in the movie it can be suspected it will play a part in the 2nd film.   However,  James Gunn has said that Starlord's father will not be the same character as in the comics.

Gamora also speculates on what in Quill's blood  allowed him to hold the Power gem longer than a normal human.  He could be Spartoi or something else.  Though the Spartoi do not appear very different than humans they do live much longer lives in the comics.

 Devil Dinosaur has been around since the 1970s.  He has not had very long runs but has jumped in out of books making various cameo appearances.

Who is Cull Obsidian aka Black Dwarf?

Black Dwarf or Cull Obsidian is most physically strong member of Thanos's elite Black Order.  The Black Order consists of a small group of Powerful enhanced individuals used by Thanos to take out threats.  Many times the Black Order paves the way for an invasion force.  Black Dwarf has been renamed Cull Obsidian in the film Avengers Infinity War.  In the film he is also described to be Thanos's most powerful child.  In the comics he is the brother of Corvus Glaive and brother in law to Proxima Midnight.

Name:  Black Dwarf is renamed Cull Obsidian for his big screen appearance in Avengers Infinity War.

Bio:

Black Dwarf's early life is mostly unknown.  He is considered to be the most physically powerful and indestructible members of Thanos's Black Order. He is the brother of fellow Black Order member Corvus Glaive who leads the Black Order.  In the film Avengers Infinity War the Black Order is also referred to as the Children of Thanos as its members are made up of Thanos's adopted children.  Effectively Gamora and Nebula would have been members of this group had they stayed loyal to Thanos.

Thanos sends the Black Order to Earth to prepare for his invasion and to collect the Infinity Gems.  Black Dwarf goes after the gem held by Black Panther in Wakanda.  Black Dwarf attacks Wakanda with a large force of Outriders but is beaten back.  He finds this loss to be humilating and he is kicked out of the Black Order.

Thanos decides to give Black Dwarf another chance and asks him to defend the Peak from the Avengers.  There he is confronted and killed by Ronan the Accuser.

The Black Dwarf is later returned to life and forced to fight in a battle between the Black Order and the Lethal Legion (Avengers #676)

A new Avengers movie is coming and like the previous Avenger films it will be a major event.  Also like the previous films you can expect for their to be a ton of Avengers Tie In merchandise including Lego.

The Lego sets are always kept tight under wraps.  Both Disney and Lego have been known to reach out to websites who post pictures too soon and ask them to take the content down.  I really don't want to get the Lego Police called on me but I think I am safe to post what I have learned.

We now have pictures of the Avengers sets.
Some of these are pretty amazing.  The Battle at the Sanctum Santorum basically includes a full sized Sanctum and Spider-Man apartment building that is pretty cool.  The Attack of the Riders is basically an army building set that includes Cap, Black Widow and two of the Henchmen.  Corvus Glaive attacks is a really interesting set that includes 4 rare minis of Vision, Black Panther, Shurri and Corvus Glaive.


Descriptions are from Exofroce:
A Russian toy website called Exoforce.ru posted descriptions of the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War Lego sets.  The site later pulled the descriptions but not before screen shots were taken.  I asked for a Russian colleague to translate the set descriptions and the results are posted below.  I have no pictures of any of the sets nor can I say these are say these descriptions are fully official.  I will say that they seem to align with some of the scenes seen in the Avengers, Infinity War Trailer.

Niantic is further promoting another wave release of more Pokemon in the game Pokemon Go with a specail nature documentary of Pokemon Go's world.  Here is what Niantic said about the video:

A wild Pokémon appears! Today, to celebrate the recent addition of more Pokémon into Pokémon GO, The Pokémon Company International has released a nature documentary-style short featuring the father of all nature documentary voice overs, Stephen Fry.

On Jan 23, Niantic released information about another wave from Gen 3.  Niantic released the message that 23 more Hoenn pokemon were released from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

Trainers,
Starting later today, 23 additional Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region in the Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire video games will begin appearing in Pokémon GO for the very first time. As you’re out adventuring with friends and family and exploring your local neighborhoods, be sure to share your favorite moments and photos using #PokemonGO on your social media channels.

The Wave releases of Gen 3

Pokemon Go released Gen 2 for the most part all at once. Beginning in the Halloween of 2017 players began to see a different approach from Niantic the developer of Pokemon Go. Instead of releasing all of the Pokemon the company would release a select group of the Pokemon with a various theme. In the case of the 2017 Halloween event a variety of Ghost and Spooky pokemon were released as part of the Halloween Event.

The wave releases seem to be a way for the company to align the pacing of its player base. Niantic saw that hardcore players were qiuckly capturing all released Pokemon in a matter of weeks or even days from the release date.  While more casual players were taking months.  The hardcore players were demanding new releases before casual players had caught many of the new releases.    By releasing the Pokemon in waves it will limit how far ahead a hardcore player could get beyond a casual player.

Whether the Pokemon Go fan base will react positively or negatively to this development remains to be seen.



Niantic released the first 50 Pokemon from Gen 3.  This will be followed by waves that will release more of the Gen 3 Pokemon.

For the Holiday event Niantic is going to release 20 Ice/Water Pokemon into the wild.  These new Pokemon include:

• Carvanha/Sharpedo

What are the coolest Gen 3 Pokemon?



Gen 3 pokemon are in many ways more significant and of a greater variety than the Gen 2 release. Which should get people pretty excited as these Pokemon roll out.

I was personally always a big fan of Mudkip the starting water pokemon of Gen 3.  I also was always fond of the Tortois like Pokemon Torkoal who is basically a fire/coal based Turtle.
I also think Torchic another starter for Gen 3 will be very popular as its definetly the cutest of this batch.

On the cool side are the dragon like Salamence and the bone covered Aggron.

New cool Water Pokemon inlcude the Shark like Sharpedo and the whale like Waillord.

One Pokemon sure to facinate players is the alien like Deoxys.  In the previous games Deoxys did not evolve but could be caught and later in the game altered into various forms.  Deoxys is very unique and rare and will certainly be exciting to catch.

The most powerful Pokemon in Gen 3 include the 3 Regies who are Regice, Registeel, Regirock these golumn looking creatures are known as the 3 Legendary Titans of Hoen.  My guess is that they will be released through Raids.

Rounding out the Pokemon 3 is the super powerful but super lazy Slaking.  It will be interesting to see if combat rules are adjusted to account for this pokemon's immense power.  In the other games he was handicapped by not taking as many moves as the player due to his lazyness.

The Sanctum Sanctorum is the name that Doctor Strange gives his magical mansion.

The Sanctum Sanctorum is a three story town house located at 177A Bleecker Street in the center of New York's Greenwich Village.  Stange's man servant Wong is usually on hand to greet any guest to the home.  The Sanctum Santorum is expected to make its first appearance in the film Doctor Strange.

Santorum's Features:

Large window in the pattern of the anomaly rue which is a magical algorithm.  This is said to be "Window of Worlds" or the seal of Vishanti a power symbol of protection.  The symbolic Window has survived the homes destruction and appears in every iteration of the home.

Items stored in the Sanctum Santorum:
Cloak of Levitation- Allow Strange to fly.

Eye of Agamotto- Strange's most powerful artifiact.  The eye negates evil magic and many other things

Orb of Agamotto - A crystal ball used for Strange to gaze into and see various things including into other worlds.

Book of Vishanti - Powerful book of white "Good" magic

Lay out of structure:
 The house also appears at times to have vast spaces open inside of it. That seem to be far larger than the outside of the house would indicate.  This would seem to be magically induced.

Basement- Storage, Furnace, Laundry
First Floor - Large Living rooms, dining rooms and a library.  The kitchen is shown to have a chained up fridge from the dangrous and bizarre foods that Strange is forced to eat to keep his strength.
Second Floor- living quarters/ bedrooms for Strange, Wong and guests
Third Floor- A temple like structure that is called specifically the Sanctum Santorum, includes meditation rooms, museum of magical artifacts, the anomaly rue window, and an occult library

Powers:
The Sanctorum possesses a few unique powers.

 Illusion - The home can hide itself with illusions such as appearing to be a construction site or a derelict house.  It possesses a variety of protective shields and forces inside the house to keep bad things or at least unwanted guests out.

Who is Spider-Ham?

Spider-Ham is a version Spider-Man from a very silly alternative dimension full of anthropomorphic animal parodies of Marvel characters.  Spider-Ham is an anthropomorphic pig, with the super powers of Spider-Man.

Bio:
 
Continuity has not always been clear cut on this character his origin has been depicted a couple of different ways.  I will tell the originaly depicted origin of the character.

Peter is a spider.  Yes, he is a spider not a pig.  He minding his own business when a crazy scientist anthropomorphic pig by the name of May Porker is filled full of radiation.  May was working on adding nuclear power to hair dressing equipment when something went wrong.  Fully demented due to the radiation May in explicably picks up Peter the spider and bites him.  Peter survives the bite, and is transformed into an anthropomorphic pig like May.  He runs outside frightened and learns that though he has transformed into a pig he has retained his abilities he had as a spider.  In this way he has the strength, speed, wall clinging ability and even the spider sense powers commonly associated with Spider-Man.

May Porker ends up believing that Peter is her nephew.  This is in part due to the delirium of the radioactivity poisoning.  She ends up raising Peter as a loving aunt.   Peter takes the last name of May and calls himself Peter Porker.

May Porker's scientific know how is also transferred into Peter.  He uses this knowledge to construct webspinning gauntlets to create webbing.  He then goes off into the world to battle evil, animal parodies of common Marvel villains.

In the Spider-Man event called the Spider-Verse, Peter Porker joins a team of spider-totems to fight off the evil inheritors who are hunting down spider-totems throughout the Marvel multiverse.

Similar powers of Spider-Man

Villains:
Spider-Ham faces off against a slew of villains who are anthropomorphic parodies of Marvel villains.  This includes a version of the Sinister Six called the Swinester Six.

The Walking Dead is a comic, TV, and video game franchise that features survivors of a zombie apocalypse.
The TV series has become one of the most popular tv series in the world and is the primary hit show for the AMC cable station.


Teaser for the 2nd half of Season 8

All Out War with the Saviors has been tough on Rick's coalition.  The Kingdom is abandoned, and Alexandria is burnt to the ground.  The remaining survivors find themselves pinned at Hilltop as Negan prepares the final take down.
Oh yeah and Carl is bit by a Walker..........doom doom doom

All out war has had a devastating impact on every person involved. The communities themselves are fractured. Alexandria has been destroyed, the Hilltop finds themselves pinned, and the Kingdom is shattered — half of them dead, the other half controlled by the Saviors. 

At the very center — Rick, having been distracted by the conflict, has just returned home to learn that Carl, who heroically shepherded the Alexandrians to safety during Negan’s attack, has been bitten by a walker. Once his sole motivation in this otherwise stark existence, Rick is forced to deal with this reality. Carl has always been a beacon of hope, a symbol for the remaining thread of humanity — lessons that the survivors around him would be wise to take with them as this war surges onward. 

But Rick isn’t the only person who’s living in peril. Aaron and Enid are in a dire situation at Oceanside — unclear if they’re in friendly territory, or if they’ve just made new enemies. Father Gabriel will do his part in attempting to smuggle Dr. Carson safely back to the Hilltop and a pregnant Maggie is wrestling with the many moral gray areas that come with leadership during war. In a standoff with the Saviors, she must decide how to proceed with the dozens of POW lives she’s currently in control of, as well as new complications that come with being a leader. 

In addition to the war, Negan continues to deal with struggles within his ranks as workers, traitors, and others’ thirst for power cause conflict at the Sanctuary. Having gifted the Saviors a major victory, Eugene’s loyalty is repeatedly tested as new obstacles present themselves. 

As all-out-war consumes us, the line between good and evil continues to blur. People fighting for what they believe in. Everybody working together for something bigger — to feel safe and have a world worth living in.

100th Episode

Walking Dead will celebrate a milestone of hitting its 100th episode during Season 8.

US Winter Olympians get the Marvel Treatment

Marvel Fans pay close attention to the Olympic advertisements during the Super Bowl you may notice a theme.

To promote the Winter Olympics NBC is releasing 5 "Best of the USA" 60 second videos during the Super Bowl.  The Super Bowl airs on Sunday Feb 4th.  Some of the videos have a Marvelish theme tying the athletes to certain Marvel heroes.

The first commercial focuses on Colorado's own Mikaela Shiffrin. Mikaela is shown sporting her patriotic Captain Marvel uniform.  The video explains how Mikaela came up with her A.B.F.T.T.B. "Always be faster than the Boys."  She rocks out on the slopes to Chuck Berry's "Johny Be Good".




Shaun White Meanwhile is getting the Iron Man treatment in this completely awesome video.  While Shaun does not wear any Iron Man gear himself the whole video is played to Black Sabbath's song "Iron Man".
Am I crazy or is there a Marvel theme here?  I don't know of any real deals other than one to use the Captain Marvel motiff on the USA Woman Ski team uniforms but these ads both link to Marvel.  Could NBC trying to make each of these videos as a Olympians Marvel styled origin story?






Both commercials are some of the most expenisve that will be released on Sunday and so far look very awesome.  I can't wait to who is next.

Coding Caterpillar or Code-A-Pillar by Fisher Price is Toylab's Top Christmas Toy of 2016

Fisher Price has a new toy that is geared toward toddlers.  It is on its face a really simple robot but if you look closely it offers a great deal of depth.   It is a toy that will delight toddlers, but may also be used by older kids and even adults.  When a toy can intrigue all people it has the possibility of being much more that it was initially intended.
I have seen highschool teams work with robotics doing similar tasks that are now being done by 4 year olds with the Code-A-Pillar.  The high school robots were just harder to use and figure out.  This robot is elegantly, simple and it is that simplicity that makes it a thing of beauty.


How does Code-A-Pillar work?

The Code-A-Pillar is a toy that is broken up into segmented pieces that click together.  Each piece is snapped into each other easily through an attached USB connection.  Each segment has a symbol on it showing an action like Turn Left, Go Forward, Make Noise.  When the Code-A-Pillar is turned on it lights up happily and then runs through the sequence of actions laid out in the segments of the Code-A-Pillar.  Kids can begin playing and experimenting with the sequence of the segments to make the toy do different things or at least in a different sequence.

By putting the segments in different sequences the kids can begin undertaking little challenges like making the Code-A-Pillar cross a mapped out path, or go around obstacles.  When kids master this there is a App that can add additional tasks and options.
There will also be expansion packs that will have all kinds of new things for the Code-A-Pillar to do.










What makes it really awesome is what it teaches - CODING
The secret sauce of this toy is that it teaches CODING!
One of the missions of Toylab is to help people from all walks of life how to code or do basic programming.  The reasons for this are legion.  Understanding how computer code works unlocks doors in every industry today.  It is very empowering to program a machine to do something very
 efficiently and save you time.  While coding is something that is nice to have for my generation, it is going to be seen as an outright requirement for future generations.


The American Education in Coding is woefully unprepared for the future.


This may sound crazy but if I had my way, kids would be spending an equal amount of time learning programming as they spend on Science, English and Math.  It should be treated like a new core class.  Schools however are not treating it that way.  Kids are very lucky if they get 2 classes that cover basic computer skills and often one of those is simply keyboarding.  This does nothing to teach a kid programming, 3d Modeling, Website Design, 3d Printing or the myriad of other computer technologies.  If you want your kids to learn coding you need to be the one to introduce it to them.  The Code-A-Pillar is a great first step in this direction.

The best part of Code-A-Pillar is that your kids will begin learning a very USEFUL skill but do it while playing and having fun.   The Code-A-Pillar is also such a great toy that they are going to want to play with it, and explore how to use it.  Further there are ways by using crafts, additional segment parts to increase the amount of exploration they can do with this toy.

I Love this toy!  It is a beautiful design and a revolutionary simple idea made fun.






Positives:

• Easy to use and figure out
• Teaches Coding
• Parts are easily handled by a Toddler
• Parts stay together and don't fall out easily
• Putting pieces together is pretty easily
• $50 Dollars is approximate starting set price and seems very reasonable

Downsides
I love this toy but there are some things to think about to take into account.

• The Code-A-Pillar makes a lot of noise which can drive parents nuts.  I do not see an option to turn the volume off.
• It does best on a flat hard surface (Tile or Hardwood floors are the best).  It can work on thin carpet but a thicker carpet it will often get stuck.
• It does better when you have a descent amount of space.  If you don't have a lot of space it could be a struggle for you child to use it.

Fall from Grace is a Daredevil story that is remembers for being ambitious, and controversial.  Over 15 years since the story was printed in continues to be one of the most important and influential of Daredevil stories.

Background:
Fall from Grace was written by DG Chichester & Scott McDaniel who had the unenviable job of attempting to write Daredevil in the era after Frank Miller.  Miller had changed Daredevil and the entire superhero genre with his dark, gritty tableaus of Hellskitchen.  After Miller, Marvel seemed to have trouble finding an interesting place to take Daredevil without simply retreading what Miller had done.  Chichester had heard through the grapevine that Tom Defalco Editor of Marvel was planning to have him removed from Daredevil.  Chichester brought this up directly to Tom as he pitched Fall from Grace.   Chichester sold the group on the theme and some of the major ideas of the story that promised to have some major hooks.  One of the hooks turned out to be a simple cover of the first book that had a stark skyscraper and Daredevil falling out of it.

Agents of SHIELD Season 5 has Marvel's elite agents sent into a bizarre future where the Earth has been destroyed.   What bit of humanity survives exists on a space station called Lighthouse.  What exactly is this station and did it ever exist in the comics?

First Appearance Comics: Secret Avengers #22

First Appearance MCU:  Agents of SHIELD Season 5 Episode 1

MCU:
Lighthouse is said to be an old base that was built beneath Lake Ontario beneath a real Lighthouse.  The base was designed to be high technological bunker that could be used in the event of a global cataclysmic event.  At some point in the MCU AOS Season 5 timeline the Earth is shattered by an unknown cataclysim.  It is rumored by some that Quake Daisy Johnson caused the Earth to shatter using her super power.  A small amount of humans survived the event by seeking shelter in the Lighthouse.

The Lighthouse and its survivors were found by the Kree who converted the shelter into a space station.  The Kree wiped out any historical records held on the station and enslaved the humans there.  Inhumans born from the station were used as soldiers or gladiators for the Kree elite.

Around 2090-92 a SHIELD team from 74 years in the past was transported into the station.  This team led by Phil Coulson has been prophesized to return to the Lighthourse to save humanity by a crazy man named Virgil.  Virgil dies before he can tell the SHIELD team how they were meant to save the world.


Comics 616 Universe:
The Lighthouse is a space station base used by the team the Secret Avengers.  The Lighthouse was created as a special project of Hank Pym (Giant Man) and Hank McCoy (Beast).  Captain America had joked that he assigned the two genius heroes the task of building the base as a means of keeping them busy and out of trouble, he is very surprised at the elaborate and well designed station the two manage to create.

I have not seen a ton of Black Panther costumes at comic cons.  I would say there are always 1 or 2 of them.  I do expect this to increase though with his addition to the MCU in Captain America: Civil War and especially with the film Black Panther.  After I saw the first teaser for Black Panther my about melted it was so awesome and I fully expect that to rachet up his popularity.

This is a cool one in that its a team cosplay with Storm.  Storm is a ally of Black Panther as well as his wife in some stories.


This one is very cool.  I love the spear that is integrated into the costume.

Club Crypti-Kid #1 The Mystery of Half Moon

My family liks to hike, go on adventures and comic books and so awhile back we put all of these things together into a comic series called Club Crypti-Kid.  Club Crypti-Kid is about a club of kids who go around their local town and look for mysterious creatures.  Cryptozoology is the real pseudoscientific name of studying and searching for hidden and amazing creatures.  A Cryptid is one of these mysteriouis hidden creatures.

Each comic is based off of real locations and provides real ideas for adventures to do as a family.  Also each comic comes with its own merit badge that families can print up and give to their children who complete the attached mission.

While this comic was made for my family more than anything I hope others out there will have fun with it as well.  If people like the first one I will begin posting the others as well.

 Hell's Kitchen is a neighborhood in New York City.  In the Marvel universe it is best known as the home and stomping grounds of the hero, Daredevil.

The Dark Order is a group of highly powerful being assembled as a strike team by Thanos to take over planets and wreak havok on his enemies.  The Dark Order members have various power sets and abilities and are generally accompanied by various other armies into war including the Outrider or the Chitauri.  The Dark Order along with Thanos will be the primary villains of  the MCU film Avengers Infinity War.

Who is Fandral?


Fandral is a Marvel character who is a member of the Asgardian Race.  He is a friend and compatriot of the hero Thor.  Fandral is most often attached to a group of Thor's friends called "The Warriors Three".  He is played by actor Josh Dallas in Thor 1.  Actor Zachary Levi is set to takes over the character in Thor The Dark World.

 Bio:

Fandral is a warrior and adventurer of the Asgardian race.  He is a swashbucker, rogue with a deep love of romance.  He is brave to the point of being rash.  Fandral pursues females romantically at any opportunity and this has propensity of getting him into trouble.  He is also generally optimistic even under bleak circumstances. Like all of the Warriors Three he is self sacrificing, noble and highly loyal to his friends.

Fandral has had many adventures with the Warriors Three and Thor.  He has battled Mangog, Thermal Man, Surtur, Mogul of Mystic Mountain, the Destroyer, Loki, Flying Trolls of Thryheim, Fafnir, Mephisto, Hela, Ego-Prime, Xorr, Ssthagar's Slavers, Mercurio, Zarrko the Tomorrow Man, Spoor, Grey Gargoyle, Enchantress, Skurge the Executioner.



Once while on a quest to rescue an important Asgardian named Mord he finds himself on the Isle of Freya, the goddess of Love.  On the Isle Fandral learned that many women he had been with had been grief stricken after he left them.  He realizes his womanizing ways have caused great pain.  Feeling the full brunt of shame laid on him by Freya he swears off future philandering.

One tale of Fandral makes it sound as though he is the inspiration for the legendary outlaw Robin Hood in the Marvel Universe.

Fandral perishes in Ragnarok but is found reborn like most of the Asgardians by Thor.
He helps defend Asgard in the Siege event where Norman Osborn's forces assault the kingdom.

Slower Aging

Skills:  Considered one of the best Swordsmen in Asgard, and is an all around master of bladed weapons.
