Who is Storm?

Storm is a marvel hero known for serving on the mutant super-team the X-Men. Storm has been depicted in multiple X-Men films and cartoons. Colossus was played by Halle Berry in X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, and X-Men: Days of Future Past. Actress Alexandra Shipp will play Storm in the film X-Men: Apocalypse.

Bio:

Ororo Munroe is born in NYC. She is the child of a Kenyan tribal princess, N'Dare and an American Photographer, David Munroe. Ororo is only 6 month's old when the young family moves to Cairo, Egypt. When she is a five a fighter jet crashes into her home during the Suez Crisis. This kills her parents and buries young Ororo in rubble. She survives but is now an Orphan and has a deep seeded fear of claustrophobia. As street orphan she explores Cairo's back alleys and the street criminal Achmed el-Gibar who trains her to be a pick pocket.

As a teenager she explores the Serengeti. There she has her first run in with T'Challa who she will later marry. The two quickly part ways despite being very attracted to each other. She is found by a priestess Ainet who adopts Ororo. Ainet helps Ororo explore her powers and how they can be used the best. She is worshipped as a rain goddess of the tribe.

Professor X finds and recruits Ororo into the X-Men where she is given the code name Storm. She is shown as being a strong and calm member of the team. She eventually becomes one of the main leaders of the X-Men supplanting Cyclops.
She has battles with Dracula and Callisto before eventually becoming a leader of the mutant rebel group the Morlocks. Storm goes to Wolverine's wedding in Japan to Mariko Yashida. There she meets Wolverine's old friend Yukio. Yukio teaches Storm to embrace her darker side. Storm begins to don her iconic punk look.

She battles the Shadow King, goes to Asgard with the X-men. She has a long relationship with Forge but later they break up.

After 90% of the mutants lose their powers in the House of M event Storm goes to Africa where she marries T'Challa the Black Panther. The two lead the Fantastic Four for awhile to allow for the Reed's to go on vacation. On a mission in space they are told by the Watcher that their children will have a special destiny.
The Shadow King reemerges to play games with Storm. He takes control of both Cyclops and Black Panther in turns seemingly destroying her relationship with her old team and also her husband. She begins to see through the actions and recognizes the threat and begins to form a plan with the Panther god Bast. She fires a lightning bolt through the chest of Cyclops and the Shadow King leaps into her body. There he is destroyed by a waiting Bast who devours him.

There are a few different versions of Storm active throughout Secret Wars. It is still unknown which versions will emerge after the event is over.

How to beat Entei? some Pokemon Go trainer tips

Entei is one of the most powerful Fire Pokemon said to be as hot as Lava and capable of making Volcanoes with its barks.

Entei is part of the trio of Legendary dogs with the others being Suicune and Raikou. The Legendary dogs are closely tied to the Legendary bird Ho-Oh. Ho-Oh is said to have resurrected the Legendary dogs when the mystical Brass Tower they lived in one was burned down. It is said only Ho-Oh can stop a battle between the three Legendary Dogs. Entei is said to have come from the fire that burned the tower down. It is brawny and destructive.

Volcanoes erupt when it barks. Unable to restrain its extreme power, it races headlong around the land.

Pokemon Silver Description:
A Pokémon that races across the land. It is said that one is born every time a new volcano appears.

Pokemon Crystal Description:
This brawny Pokémon courses around the earth, spouting flames hotter than a volcano's magma.

Catching the legendary dogs-
There were many rumors early on in Pokemon Go on ways to catch Legendary Pokemon. One rumor was that they were hard to reach areas like on top of Mount Everest or inside of Area 51. These rumors are NOT true.

Legendary Pokemon like Entei can be caught when you battle in a Legendary Raid. A raid will appear with a 5 Rhydon symbol that denotes a Legendary Raid. Once the Raid pokemon appears it will be one of the Legendary Pokemon, if it is Entei then this is your chance to battle it and catch it. If you successfully beat Entei you will then get an opportunity to catch it. To beat Entei you will need to make a team of multiple people to help you. No matter how powerful you think you are, the Legendary Pokemon in Raids are very powerful (Very high CP) and require a large group of people with high level Pokemon.

You look up to a loud roar and see a giant dog running toward lit aflame with power you have entered battle with the Legendary Pokemon Entei!

Alright strategy time well lets start with this Entei is a Fire type hybrid pokemon.

Rock, Ground and Water Pokemon work well against Fire Pokemon.

Top Counters vs Entei:

Omnastar - Omnastar is a great pokemon to use against Entei because it recieves a double defensive bonus against Entei Fire moves. It also has highly effective move sets against Entei. For these reason Omnastar is the best counter against Entei.Golem - (Rock Throw, Stone Edge) this pokemon works very well against most Legendary Pokemon and Entei is included in this. One of the best pieces of advice to get ready for Legendary raids is to build up a few all rock move Golems. They will come very much in handy.

Most of Entei's moves are Fire based so having a Rock or Water pokemon works best.

Who is the Bride of Nine Spiders?

The Bride of Nine Spiders is the most terrifying and coldest member of the Immortal Weapons. As an Immortal Weapon she is on of the greatest martial artists in the world with added on power. She has been both an ally and an enemy of Iron Fist.

Name: Unknown - There have been multiple women carrying the mantle and powers of the Bride of Nine Spiders none of their names have been revealed.

Alias: Bride of Nine Spiders

Home: Unknown

First Appearance: Immortal Iron Fist #8 (2007) - Current Bride of Nine Spiders, Immortal Iron Fist Annual #1 (2007) - Former Bride of Nine Spiders.

Fun Fact:

The Bride of Nine Spiders is one of the most mysterious Immortal Weapons. One legend concerning her is that a great martial artist named Murderous Lion held a tournament in her honor. Murderous Lion's intention was for the winner of the tournament to earn the right to marry the beautiful Bride of Nine Spiders. However, the Bride saw the tournament as an affront to her immortality and found the idea of marrying any mortal beneath her. Rather than accept the winner of the tournament as a husband she challenged him to a match. The winner turned out to be Murderous Lion himself and he ended up in a death match with his would be wife. The two gravely injured each other and many suspect both died. The Singing Spider was an immortal spider that was supposedly found at the site of the battle was used as evidence that the legend was real.
The Bride of Nine Spiders that was encountered by Danny Rand was a different woman than the woman encountered Orson Randall many years earlier. It is possible that the earlier Bride of Nine Spider died in the manner of the legend.

The Bride of Nine Spiders is a mantle worn by one of the Immortal Weapons of the Seven Mystical Cities of Heaven. It is passed on to a champion of one of the Seven Cities in a similar way as that of the Iron First.

There are two Bride of Spiders women who have been featured in the comics. Niether woman has had an origin told or been given a name outside of Bride of Nine Spiders. One is featured as part of the old Iron Fist Orson Randall. Orson is captured captured by the Lady of Nine Spiders after he refuses to fight in the tournament of the Seven Cities. He escapes her clutches. This Bride does not appear again however there is a legend concerning her dying at the hands of a would be lover named Murderous Lion. It is said from this battle an immortal spider is left called the Singing Spider. This Spider is bought by antiquity dealer who uses it to attract and ensnare the current Bride of Nine Spiders.

The next Bride of Nine Spiders also called the current Bride is first seen in the battle of the Seven Cities by Danny Rand. The Bride fights in the 2nd round against Dog Brother #I. She defeats Dog Brother #1 after releasing an army of spiders out of her body that attack and overwhelm Dog Brother.

The Bride of Nine Spiders is initially reluctant to help the other champions fight off an attack from Hydra. She joins when she decides that the attack could imperil her own city. She joins in the attack on the newly found 8th City of Demons. She is captured and tortured there. Once she freed she vengefully kills all who get in her way.

A collector finds the Singing Spider of her predecessor and uses it to draw her to him and capture her. She is eventually freed when thieves descend upon the collectors home looking for the singing Spider. She kills the collector, and lets the thieves go with the warning that she is only shows forgivness once. She takes the Singing Spider in her possession and leaves.

Powers and Skills:

The other Immortal Weapons have powers that are heavily rooted in Mysticism and Chi after they defeat a Guardian of that force. The Bride's powers do not follow along the Chi path. She is an advanced martial artists but her powers all seem to be rooted in creating terror.

Spiders- The Bride of Nine Spiders can release a torential wave of small spiders that come out of her body and attack opponents. She can release them in a massive wave or fling clusters of them along with strikes or blocks.

Spiked Necklace - The Bride has a spiked collar / necklace that can shoot out like a spear.

Singing Spider- Is an item that can cause hallucinations on others. It has great influence over her and is one of her weaknesses if it falls into her enemies hands.

Weaknesses:
Singing Spider- Is thought to be a spider from the previous Bride of Nine Spiders this spider has a variety of mystical effects. It can attract the current Bride of Nine Spiders to a given location and can also cause her to suffer debilitating hallucinations.

MCU:

A woman who is an agent of Madame Gao's Hand organization is brought into battle Iron Fist in a duel. She uses Singing Spider venom as a weapon and poisons Iron Fist. However, Iron Fist manages to calm himself and uses his Chi to hold off the poison.

When the gym leaders were first introduced in Pokemon Go the one that caught most people's eye was Spark. Spark was really different than the other two gym leaders. First he was the only boy and 2nd he seemed to have a carefree attitude while the other two were very serious. This reveal created a frenzy of fan art and comics depicting Spark as a carefree and sometimes simple person. Some fans were drawn to instinct because they liked him, others left because they hated him. In all that frenzy one very important thing was missed. Spark is outlier in terms of Pokemon Go but he infact bares a striking simularity to character from the Pokemon Video Games. This is because Spark is a clue of major Pokemon Event that occures between Pokemon Go and Pokemon Red/Blue. The secret of Spark is simple.

SPARK is SURGE

Surge is one of the first gym trainer faced by the player in Pokemon Red/Blue also known as Generation 1. Surge stands out in the game as he is one of the only American and Blonde characters in the Generation 1. Surge is also the character that first mentions a Pokemon War. Surge is also one of the few middle aged men encountered in the Pokemon series and the fact that he claims to have survived a war likely means that most of the other middle aged men were not so fortunate.

What makes Surge an interesting choice as a character is that he is THE character that mentions the Pokemon War:

LT. Surge:

“Hey kid! What do you think you’re doing here? You won’t live long in combat!

That’s for sure! I tell you what kid, electric Pokèmon saved me during the war!”

Why is Spark really Surge?
Surge looks like an older Spark. Many fans have noticed this as the two are the most prominent blonde characters in Pokemon lore. The two may actually be the only blonde characters?

Both characters like Electric Pokemon.

Both are kind of meat heads but also not evil. They both show a natural or instinctual form of battling.

Both are leaders one of a Team and the other of the Electric Gym.

Team Instinct is yellow and their mascot is an electric pokemon.

Spark's name is another way of saying electricity. While Surge (also an electric name) is leader of the Electric Pokemon Gym.

On top of looking a like both strike a similar pose in their main images:

Many fans have noticed the similarity between the two characters. There is even a set of fan made comics depicting Surge as Spark's uncle. This familial connection would assume that Surge is older than Spark. However, if you take off 10 years from Surge to put in the time frame of Pokemon Go they would be the same age.

The Similarities exist because they are the same person. What would Spark look like if he went through a war on the front lines. Grew a few years older during the war and became a more beefy as soldier.

Answer - He would look like Surge.

Also consider that Spark represents an electrical beginning and Surge represents an electrical continuation. Maybe he changes his name during the war to the more serious sounding Surge.

The fact that Spark was selected, and his connection to Surge is a major piece of evidence that a Pokemon War is coming to Pokemon Go. There are some mysterious things going on in Agents of SHIELD and a small bit of evidence has surfaced leading some to believe that Blade could be appearing in the show.

Blade is among the rights that Marvel has managed to bring back in house. About 2 years ago at SDCC 2016 there were some interesting things said by Wesley Snipes that talks were being had between himself and Marvel about the future of Blade. 2 years later and one mysteriously scrapped Blade comic later and there still is no word at all about Blade. Marvel has been completly mum about the character.

That might be about to change. Lorraine Cink was interviewing Jeff Ward the actor who plays Deke on Agents of SHIELD and she tweeted out something pretty interesting:

Got a chance to meet the very charming @JeffWard1230 AKA Deke from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. today. I can’t wait for you to see the cool things we are cooking up. Keep an eye out in 2018! #AgentsofSHIELD #Blade.

Lorraine went on to claim that the Blade reference was only meant because it is Jeff Ward's favorite character but.........? The show did manage to get appearances of Deathlok and Ghost Rider so maybe its possible that they could also get at least a version of Blade to appear on the show.

While the show is currently dealing with a science fiction and time travel story that seems like an odd fit for Blade the show is still toying with some elements of the supernatural. In particular the Framework program that was created by the dark magic book the Dark Hold still exists. Beyond the framework there is one element in particular that makes me believe that the show could be headed toward Blade. What could be happening in a space environment that would lead me to this conclusion. Well how about Space Vampires.

What about Space Vampires?

Is Lady Basha and her red eyed people actually space Vampires?

The show also has introduced a group that seem to be red eyed aliens who like blood sports. This group of aliens is led by Lady Basha who continually does not show up to invited dinner of the Kree overlord Kasius of the Lighthouse station. Could Lady Basha actually not be an alien but instead be a vampire? I have been trying to determine what alien Lady Basha could be but have been coming up with blanks however one group in Marvel that is humanoid with red eyes are vampires.

Maybe she is not showing up to dinner because does not want to reveal what she eats...........blood?

I think the race or species of Lady Basha has cleverly been omitted. No one has said who they are. This is peculiar because the aliens Vrellnexians and the Kree were named very quickly in the show. Why would the show hold out on the name of Lady Dasha's people? It seems that her species whatever it is a piece of the puzzle of where the show will go. Nothing would lead fans more than the revelation that Lady Basha is not an alien but a vampire. This would also explain why the show does not want to show her eating as that would give her secret away.

Facts supporting Lady Basha being a Vampire:

Species Unnamed - Why not named if it does not reveal something
Sees humans as lessers / cattle
Not shown eating / drinking this would be a give away if she is a vampire

What do you think could Season 5 be headed toward Space Vampires and Blade? That is a pretty awesome combination if you ask me. Am I crazy or does this theory make sense.

Who is Flint?

Flint is a new Inhuman created as a result of the T-Bomb (Terrigen Bomb). Flint will appear in the Agents of SHIELD season 5 and will be played by actor Coy Stewart.

Bio:
Jason is a teen who was adopted from Africa by a white family in rural Minnesota. He often feels out of place being the only African American in the entire town. He is hoping to move from the town and go to college elsewhere when the Terrigen cloud is released by the T-Bomb. Jason had just had a major fight with his adopted father. The two were apart and Jason was stewing his room. His father then burst through the door saying it was emergency and they had to go away. The entire town evacuates in an attempt to outrun the Terrigen cloud. Jason asks his Dad what is going on. His father replies cryptically that the entire town is from a special tribe, and that Jason came from a similar tribe in Africa. Members of their tribe will be changed by the cloud that is headed their way and he does not think any of them will survive. The cloud hits the towns caravan and they all become encased in cocoons. When Jason emerges from his cocoon he finds he is the only one from the town left alive.

Shortly after emerging from the Cocoon an older and powerful Inhuman named Lash appears and takes Jason to his city Orollan. Lash is recruiting new Inhumans to repopulate the Inhuman city. Not long after arriving in Orollan the city is attacked by Queen Medusa and her forces. The armies of Inhumans collide and quickly Medusa gains the upper hand. She does not hurt any of the Orollans but instead bring forward the Inhuman Lineage to explain the motivations of Blackbolt to Lash. Lash then relents and agrees not to kill any more Inhumans for the time being. Jason decides to leave and go to New Attilan.

In New Attilan Jason studies beneath the Inhuman trainer Gorgon on how to use his powers. He takes the name of Flint as his NuMan name. When the Unspoken manages to take over New Attilan, Flint is instrumental in retaking back control of city. He uses his power to fly the Terrigen crystals away from the Unspoken depleting his power.

Flint has become close friends with the other NuMans Dante AKA Inferno and Naja.

Geokinesis - Flint can control / move rocks with his mind. He also has some stone in his body which makes him heavy.

MCU:

Flint appears in Agents of SHIELD Season 5 and is played by actor Coy Stewart. Coy Stewart is most known for his role in Bella and the Bulldogs.

70 years into the future Earth is destroyed and The Lighthouse space-station houses what is left of humanity. The station is controlled by ruthless alien Kree aliens who use their human population to create Inhumans whom they sell to various nefarious alien powers. One of the Inhumans created on the station is Flint who has the ability to control Earth.

In the episode "The Last Day" it revealed that Flint is important to the prophesy in which Earth is saved from destruction.

Who is Reader?
Reader is an Inhuman character that first appeared in the 2014 Marvel series "Inhuman." He is a powerful Inhuman mercenary that lives on Earth amongst humans. Reader is a character that is rumored to be the identity of the blind man who appeared at the end of Agents of SHIELD season 2 mid season finale.

First Appearance:
Reader's first appearance is in Inhuman #4.
His only other appearance is in Inhuman #9

Bio:
Reader is an Inhuman who lives amongst humans. He is a mercenary without loyalty to the Royal family or other Inhuman groups. He his hired by the Inhuman corporation called Ennilux to bring a new Inhuman girl to them. He goes back on this contract when he finds out what Ennilux has planned for her. The girl is named Xioyi and she is a new Chinese born Inhuman. In the Inhuman fashion she has been given a new name that relates to her power Iso. Currently, Reader and Xioyi / Iso are on the run and searching for refuge.

Reader has gauged out eyes and a large scar on the right side of his head. This was likely done to him to prevent his power going off when ever he read something.

Powers:
Reader has the power to turn anything he reads into reality. Due to the danger of his power his eyes were gauged out. This did not get rid of his power however. He can read braile and that activates his power just like reading with his eyes would. He is also capable of seeing through his dogs eyes by touching it. It is not clear if he can see through other people or creatures with this power as well.

Actions he is able to do with his power include making a flying pack, and stopping time.

Agents of SHIELD:

In Agents of SHIELD there is an eyeless Inhuman Who can teleport named Gordon.
With his eyeless face thischaracter on the show bears a strong resemblance to the character Reader.
He is killed when Mack swings a fire axe at him during a battle with the agents.

Chris Claremont's X-Men

When people discuss titles and ideas they most often talk about the original creator. The guy who founded it, started it. However, when you look at things that span generations they often have more than just a founder, they have someone who steps in and makes that idea their own.

In the case of the X-Men they were created by Stan Lee but at the end of the 1960s they were floundering and on the verge of being canceled. In walked Chris Claremont who took over, brought new ideas, new styles, and brought the X-Men from obscurity to become one of the most popular titles in comic book history.

It was Chris Claremont who ultimately evolved the character of Wolverine to being one of Marvel most popular characters. He also wrote some of the most popular X-Men stories including Inferno, Days of Future Past, Dark Phoenix Saga, End Game, Men, Psi War, Wounded Wolf, Broodfall, A Green and Pleasant Land. Hopefully you have heard of some of those, and hopefully a few of those are new. You should check them all out.

The Common Wealth is another group to challenge the existence of the communties of Alexandria in the Universe of the Walking Dead. The group began to be promoted as villains in the run up toward New York Comic Con 2017. The group first appeared in a 6 issue story arc called New World Order.

The Common Wealth are the largest and most technologically advanced group of survivors encountered by Rick Grimes group in the world of the Walking Dead. The Common Wealth is said to have nearly 50,000 survivors, they also wear advanced suits and have access to advanced military weaponry like helicopters. The Common Wealth also has a sports stadium used for events and surviving musicians play concerts there.

First Appearance: The Walking Dead 175 (Jan 2018)

Leader(s): Woman - Unnamed blonde woman who wears a business suit. This may be the character Stephanie whom Eugene has spoken to via radio previously.

Home Base: ? - Some where in Ohio

Philosophy: ?

Size: Common Wealth is said to have over 50,000 people making them the largest group encountered in the Walking Dead world.

Common Wealth:

Not much is known about the Common Wealth but they will become a major threat to the group in 2018. It is possible the Common Wealth is located in the central part of the United States which is an area that has not been explored by either the Walking Dead (TV or comics) or the companion series Fear the Walking Dead.

Lance Hornsby a leader of a group of Common Wealth soldiers encounters and captures Eugene, Michonne, Magna, Yumiko, Siddiq and Juanita. He seeks to gain information from the survivors asking each of them pass an interview. Eugene is reluctant to give Lance information. Eugenue wants to speak to a woman named Stephanie who may be the leader of the Common Wealth.

Eugene has spoken to woman named Stephanie numerous occasions from a group she claims to be civilized. This woman reveals at one point that her group lives in Ohio and warns Eugene that his group better not be bad.

Michonne learns that her daughter may be living among the residents of the Common Wealth. She sees a board created by Common Wealth survivors looking for relatives. She sees a picture of herself signed by her daughter Elodie. Michonne had previously believed that Elodie was deceased. The wall is refered to as the "Wall of the Lost." Elodie is said to have worked at a bakery at some point in time.

Common Wealth Word meaning:
The word Common Wealth is generally associated with the UK there are also 4 US states that refer to themselves as Common Wealths including Kentucky (Where Kirkman is from), Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Viginia. Walking Dead survivors have recently been moving West and hit Pittsburgh in Pennslyvania. Its possible the name Common Wealth is a hint that they could be either from Pennslyvania or Kentucky which would be close to that area.

Carl Grimes is a character in the Walking Dead comic and TV Show. He is one of the main characters in the series being the son of the primary protagonist, Rick Grimes. In the Walking Dead TV show, Carl Grimes is played by actor Chandler Riggs.

Carl is the son of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes and Lori Grimes. When the zombie apocalypse begins Rick is comatose and is believed dead at the hospitable. Lori takes Carl and they leave with Rick's partner Shane. They head toward a safe zone that quickly falls apart. Instead, Shane ends up leading a small group of survivors camping on the outskirts of Atlanta. Eventually Rick finds them there.

Due to the dire circumstances the family finds itself in Carl is forced to grow up very quickly. At the age of 7 he begins practicing using fire arms and quickly becomes adept with them. Using a pistol he saves his mother from a walker. Later he shoots and kills Shane who had become erratic and a danger to his father. Rick begins to worry about his son and his behavior and attitude grow increasingly cold and callous. At times Rick tries to thrust his son into normal innocent child like behaviors. However, the dark world in which they live often come crashing in.

Carl is shot accidentally by a man named Otis. Otis had been attempting to shoot a deer. Carl recovers under the care of veterinarian Hershel Greene and for a time the family stays at the farm. Eventual friction lead the group to move on to a nearby Prison.

During this time Lori reveals she is pregnant with another child. Carl is very happy at the thought of having a younger sibling. Carl is loving and protective over his new baby sister, Judith. However, both his mother and his younger sister are killed during an attack on the Prison by the governor.

Carl has numerous dark experiences as the group travels from the prison. A group of red necks attempts to rape him but are brutally killed by the intervention of Rick. One young twin survivor becomes insane and kills the other. No one in the group knows what to do with the surviving murderous twin. As a fellow child, Carl sees it as his duty to dispense justice and executes the boy. The group is also hunted by cannibals, before ambushing and killing the other survival group.

Eventually the group finds its way to civilization in the form of Alexandria. There Carl struggles to fit in with other children who have been far more sheltered than him. Morgan a survivor that Rick met early in the apocalypse joins Alexandria and forms a strong bond with Carl. He pushes Carl to regain his childhood innocence. Upon his death Morgan tells Carl that he knows about a murder committed by Carl and tells him to not give into the darkness.

While in Alexandria, Carl is shot again, this time in face. He recovers from the wound but loses an eye, and carries a brutal scar on his face from the wound.

Saviors

The group enters a prolonged confrontation with an organized and violent force called the Saviors led by a vicious man named Negan. Rick pretends to go along with Negan's demands in a ruse that he hopes will allow him to learn more about the group. Angry at his father's seemingly weak actions Carl takes actions into his own hands. He sneaks aboard a Savior truck and emerges at the Savior base called Sanctuary with a machine gun. He kills a few Saviors before being subdued. Rather than punish Carl for kill his men Negan is impressed at how brave Carl is. He attempts to wine and dine him before sending him back to his father in Alexandria.
Carl stays behind in the SafeZone as Rick leads the forces from multiple communities against the Saviors. Eventually, Negan is captured and the Saviors are brought into the groups network.

Whispers and Love

Carl begins a apprenticeship beneath Earl Sutton a blacksmith in Hilltop. On a date with Sophia he is attacked by two other boys at Hilltop. Carl viciously beats them with a shovel. The boy parents want Carl to be punished for his actions. For a time he is held in a cell. In prison he meets Lydia a prisoner of a mysterious group called the Whispers. The two become close and eventually Lydia seduces Carl. The Whispers bring an army to the gates of Hilltop where Lydia's mother, Alpha demands that she is returned. Carl believes that the group abuses Lydia and begs Maggie to let her stay. However, Maggie does not want to begin an armed conflict with the large group and returns the girl. This enrages Carl and he sneaks out of Hilltop and sets out after Lydia.

How to beat Lapras in Pokemon Go

Lapras is a big Pokemon that looks like an aquatic Dinosaur. In Pokemon GO it is pretty rare but has shown up at the top of many gyms. It is very powerful.

In the cartoon of Pokemon Ash saves a Lapras from team Rocket. He later catches and rides Lapras. Lapras is such a big water Pokemon that a person can ride it like a boat.
That is right when you fight a Lapras you are basically fighting a huge dinosaur that is big enough to use a boat.

I personally really like Lapras but I have found it very hard to find. The only reliable way I have found to get one is to get a lot of 10k eggs. You also need to find those 10k eggs from a proper place and where that place is seems to be anyone's guess though your best bet is to get Eggs from Pokestops close to water areas.

There was a large Lapras event that occured in Japan where Lapras became much more common. Many Pokemon Trainers actually traveled to Japan to catch the pokemon there.

HOW TO BEAT LAPRAS!
BEST POKEMON VS LAPRAS
LAPRAS COUNTER

Lapras is technically both a WATER and ICEPokemon. It might be easier to counter the WATER side of this behemoth though because the counters to it are easily found.

Dual type Pokemons are tricky!

Top Lapras 5 Counters:
The Toylab Bloggers have gone through and used both mathematical statistics as well as field testing to determine the top counters to Lapras.
The fact that Arcanine is on the list may surprise people but keep in mind its an offensive cannon and its Wildcharge movie is Electric. Exeggutor was listed as the top choice by our blog for awhile it suffers from its weakness to Ice. The more I battle Lapras the more I like Machamp. Machamp is really the Champ against Lapras and there is no comparison.

Machamp (Counter, Dynamic Punch, Close Combat)
Heracross (Counter, Close Combat)
Jolteon (Thundershock, Thunderbolt, Thunder)
Arcanine (Fire Fang, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Wildcharge)
Exeggutor - The best Pokemon vs Lapras from an Offensive perspective. However, it has a defensive weakness due to Ice moves from Lapras. Exeggutor is still the best Pokemon to use against a Lapras with water/dragon move sets.

Some additional Thoughts!

Fighting Pokemon
Fighting Pokemon like Machamp or Pokemon with Fighting moves like Heracross should do well against Lapras. Unfortunetly, Prime Ape is typically low in CP to do much damage to a Lapras.

Grass Pokemon
The trick with Lapras and all WATER type pokemon is to use a GRASS or Electric Pokemon. GRASS  Pokemon have a defensive and offensive advantage against water Pokemon making them by far the best to take them on. In previous games WATER attacks were cut in half when used against a GRASS Pokemon and the effect of GRASS  Attacks were DOUBLED!!!

Weakeness Issue with Grass - ICE
One issue with using a GRASS Pokemon against Lapras is that if Lapras has an ICE attack that attacks power will be doubled too!!! This means you roll the dice somewhat with a GRASS or at least hope that both or at least one of its attacks is WATER.

Which GRASS  Pokemon to use?

You want to know why Lapras is sitting on top of so many gyms look no further than how rare and unpopular the GRASS  Pokemon are in the game. Which one do you build? Any one you can. I have seen a variety of WATER Pokemon doing very well in Pokemon Go (Like Vaporeon) and I think it has to do with how few built up GRASS Pokemon there are.

Make sure you pick a Grass Pokemon that also has GRASS Attacks. This gives the Pokemon advantages in both attacking and defending. This will make it competitive against Lapras.

The best option against Lapras is not a GRASS pokemon but an ELECTRIC. While Grass should work well due to the weakness from ICE attacks ELECTRIC is better.

Electric Pokemon like Jolteon!
Another good way to take down Lapras is with evolutionary cousin Jolteon. Jolteon's ELECTRIC attacks are super effective against WATER Pokemon. That is right ELECTRIC attacks work well against WATER pokemon. They just don't get the defensive bonus that the GRASS pokemon have vs WATER. They also do not get the defensive weakness that WATER has to ICE attacks though. To me this is a huge upside to using an ELECTRIC pokemon vs Lapras. At the very least the Defensive risk is lower.

Add in the other ELECTRIC type of Pokemon in here for good measure like fan favorite Pikachu / Raichu.

I would watch the attacks a Lapras is using if it is using WATER. attacks use a Grass Pokemon, but if it is using Ice attacks use an ELECTRIC Pokemon.

So go out play some Pokemon Go and kick some Lapras butt!

Who is the Russian?

The Russian is a villain of the Punisher known for nearly beating him in his first appearance. The Russian was also effectively resurrected and brought back as a cyborg enhanced hit man. In both apperances the Russian was shown to be insanely durable and finally was killed by being tethered to a nuclear bomb. The Russian appeared as a villain in the film "The Punisher" (2004).

Real Name: Unknown

Alias(es): The Russian, The Ivan

Quote: "Dosvidanja, Big Boy! The Russian really has to hand it to you!" Final line of the Russian as he was dropped out of a 747 chained to a Nuclear weapon.

The Russian Bio:

The Russians origins are mysterious but he is believed to have a connection with Afghanistan. After which he became a mercenary fighting in places including Lebanon, Iraq, Rwanda, East Timor, Chechnya, the Balkans and Belfast. He acquired a large reputation for being both brutal and being nearly unkillable. He is also considered to be a cannibal after eating a man on a bet in Belfast. He is wanted dead by numerous goverment and criminal organizations.

After the Punisher has laid waste to the Gnucci crime family the leader of the organization Ma Gnucci sought out the world's top hitmen to kill the Punisher. The Russian accepts a 10 million dollar contrac to kill the Punisher. The Russian boards a plane to Canada where he crashes the plane just above the US border. He leaves the wreckage and slips through the border and heads for NYC. The Russian is picked up by Ma Gnucci's forces and brought directly to the Punisher's home. The Russian enters invades the home and immediatly engages in his a brutal battle with the Punisher. The Russian clearly dominates the beginning parts of the battle however the Punisher manages to gain the upperhand after the pair crash through a wall into his nieghbor's appartment Mr Bumpo. The Punisher burns the Russian's face with a burning hot pizza pan, then throws the very obese Mr Bumpo on top of the Russian. The Russian is temporarily incapitated and the Punisher takes this opportunity to cut off the Russian's head and then use the head to intimidate the remaining forces of Ma Gnucci. Punisher is baddly injured after the bout with the Russian and it is not clear if he could have survived a prolonged battle.

Though dead the story of the Russian is not over. The body of the Russian is obtained by a Russian General named Kreigkopf who brings the Russian back to life with various cyborgnetic enhancements. The Russian is given animal organs and metal augmentation. As a result of the hormone treatment the Russian also grows breasts and begins dressing as woman. The Russian's primary desire is to get a rematch vs the Punisher and this request is granted.

This time the Russian throws the Punisher off the Empire State Building but the Punisher is saved by Spider-Man. The Punisher uses Spider-Man as a human shield he then uses the webslingers webshooters to knock the Russian off the building. The Russian crashes through the street before being hit and run over by a train. He still survives though is baddly wounded and retreats back to Kreigkopf's base at Grand Nixon Island. Though he survives he is denied his request to go after the Punisher again.

Kreigkopf wants to get the Russian away from the Punisher and use him for an attack against the European Union in Brussels. The Punisher continues to hunt the Russian wanting to kill him for good. He tracks the Russian to a Boeing 747 being used to transport him to Europe. The Punisher crashes the plane into Grand Nixon's fuel depot and only the Russian survives this wreck. The Punisher learns that Kreigkopf is planning to drop a nuclear weapon using another airplane. The Punisher tracks down this plane but while he is fighting to gain control of the plane The Russian meets him there. The Punisher shoots out the back of the Russian's head but he still seems to be alive. He then chains him to the nuclear bomb then drops it on top of Kreigkopf's island of Grand Nixon destroying it and the Russian.

The Russian Skills and Powers:
The Russian is one of the toughest physical fighters faced by the Punisher.

In first appearance the Russian had:

No super powers
The Russian is highly physically fit and is a top level athlete
Highly trained military skills
Insanely high pain tolerance and durability. Is said to survive guns shots to the head and a plane crash.

In 2nd appearance the Russia has had various organs replaced with that of animals and is also augmented with adamnatium. In this version the Russian has the following powers:

Super Strength
Super Durability
Super Reflexes
Super Senses - Has smell capability of a blood hound.

MCU:

There are no mentions of The Russian appearing in the MCU at this time.

The Russian does appear in the film The Punisher (2004) where he is played by WWF/WCW wrestler Kevin Nash. After a brutal hand to hand battle the Punisher finally gains the upper hand by pouring boiling oil the Russian's face then kicking him down a flight a stairs where he breaks his kneck. The Punisher is not a film in the MCU.

What is GH325?

Update Jan 29 2018 - Season 5 has introduced the GH 325 again. Interestingly this is another reference from Season 5 that goes all the way back to Agents of SHIELD Season 1. In Season 1 Agent Coulson has been brought back to life after being killed by Loki during the events of Avengers. Coulson has memories of being in Tahiti which turns out were fake memories implanted likely to cover up how painful his resurrection was. The actual resurrection was due to an experimental chemical based off Kree alien blood called Gh 325.

In Season 5 we see the villain Kasius used some form of what is believed to be Kree blood or GH 325 to bring Tess back to life. Tess describes a horrific painful experience of being brought back to life. Kasius wants the humans to believe that he is a god and has control over life and death. The agents however have experience with the Kree blood properties and thus are not dazzled but rather angered by his display. Kasius did not seem to bother with anything like TAHITI which was a psychological process to cover up how painful the biological process was and reduce mental strain. Tess appears to be under severe mental strain.

There is one other possibility in the case of Tess. She may not have been revived by Kree blood but by Vampire blood. This would link her into the Space Vampire theory. See below:

GH325 is the serum that brought Coulson back to life. Apparently, it is derived from the blood/DNA of some type of alien. GH apparently stands for Guest House which is the code name of the facility that housed the alien's body. The legs of the alien corpse were gone, so the body could have either been half grown or half missing. The code name of the room where the alien was being kept was a room labeled T.A.H.I.T.I. Tahiti is of course the place where Coulson thought he was recuperating, when he was in fact being brought back to life.

What is the Blue alien?

Kree
The alien look like a Kree. Kree are similar to humans but generally a little bigger and stronger. Certainly, that alien looks pretty big. It could be leading to bringing in characters like the Kree superhero Mar-Vell. There is also the thought by some that the reason why Coulson was so important to bring back is that he was Mar-Vell. Perhaps, he only knows this on a subconscious level. If Coulson is Mar Vel then Skye could be....Phyla Vel, Ms Marvel, Mantis, or Abigail Brand. If She is Phyla Vel than Caulson is in a way her father.

GH could stand for guest house the facility where the alien was stored, however it could also stand for initials of Mar Vel's full name in the Ultimate Universe, which was Geheneris Hala´son Mahr Vehl

Are Kree blue?
Some Kree are blue the old pure Kree. Kree were effectively cursed a long time ago and were prevented from evolving. In an attempt to make up for this many Kree began interbreeding with other species creating the Pink Kree. The Pink Kree make up a bulk of the population however the pure Blue Kree tend to be ones in power. Djimon Hounsou is also a Kree however he is neither blue nor pink so it is safe to say there will be multiple variants of Kree in the Marvel film universe.

A reader, OliKarna had some great ideas (See comments). One he mentioned that the scar/markings on the body are similar to those of Ronan the accuser action figure (Who is a Kree).
Also he had an idea on T.A.H.I.T.I. which I think is the best translation I have heard so far.

This would really lend itself to the hypothesis where Mar-Vel's consciousness was moved into either a human/or an advanced LMD android that would be Coulson.

Roger Wardell, the supposed spy inside Marvel has claimed that Coulson is in fact the Kree character Mar-Vel. This would strongly indicate that the big blue alien is a Kree. Keep in mind however that many sources think Roger Wardell is not a good source. I for one think he is full of BS but he is kind of fun He has said numerous silly things. Anyways one of his tweets is below:

What character will Dove Cameron play on Agents of SHIELD?

Agents of SHIELD has confirmed that actress Dove Cameron will be playing a role in the show in Season 5. Dove Cameron is an up and coming actress known for her role on Descendants and she also lends her voice to Spider-Gwen in the cartoon Ultimate Spider-Man. In the announcement Dove shows her excitement and is about to reveal more when she is cut off by a familiar face.

Who will Dove play?

My guess is that she could play a significant character but that is pretty hard to say. If SWORD is involved in this season its possible she could be Abigail Brand. She also could be any number of female aliens, or agents. I don't have any hard theories now but will follow the show closely and look for more clues.

Update: Dove will be playing a character called Ruby who is the daughter of General Hale and has a mysterious obsession with Quake. General Hale is a villain who appeared in the episode where Fitz was trying to get into the future with his team. Hale was running the operation that imprisoned him and also to retrieve him after he escaped. The base where Hale was located was revealed to have a warehouse containing both SHIELD and alien artifacts. When Hale's two agents Evans and Lucas failed to reacquire Fitz she executed both by shooting them in the head. She then called for a clean up crew. Hale seems ruthlessness and position in charge of an important facility point to her being part of something larger than a typical military operation. It is even possible that she herself is an Inhuman, Alien, etc. Ruby is going to be this character's daughter and that opens up a lot possibilities.

There is in fact a Ruby in the comics. Ruby is a character called Ruby Summers who is the daughter of Cyclops / Scott Summers and Emma Frost. She is an extremely powerful mutant with powers that are a variation on those of her parents: She fires black optic blasts from her eyes similar to her father. She turn her body into ruby and be nearly invulnerable like her mother. Ruby generally remains in her ruby form and come around fine in that form. The Ruby form prevents her from aging and when depicted in the comics she is actually in her 80s. She confesses that she does not know if leaving her Ruby form will lead her to automatically age.

Could Dove be playing Ruby Summers? I would say this is unlikely as Marvel just acquired Fox who held the mutant licenses. Also Ruby Summers would be a difficult character to integrate with her ties to both Cyclops and Emma Frost without either of those characters being introduced as yet into the MCU.

Spartoix Empire also resides within the Shi'ar galaxy. The are a political offshoot of the Shi'ar but do not appear to racially based off the Shi'ar as they appear to be human and not Avian based. The Spartoix Empire is made up of hundreds of planets while the Shi'ar empire is made up of millions of planets.

Note a common Marvel Error - The Shi'ar galaxy is commonly said to be M-31 this is an error by Marvel. M-31 is the Star map number for Andromeda Galaxy (Skrulls Galaxy). They likely meant M-33 which is the Triangulum Galaxy. I have seen one post from some one else who thinks it is meant to be M-33 as well. At any rate hopefully some one at Marvel will read this post and stop printing maps showing it as M-31(Like the one above). Especially since the Shi'ar are currently the most important alien empire in the Marvel Universe.

Are Power Girl's Boobs important?

People have started to talk about casting Power Girl and as part of that discussion her two unignorable attributes are likely to come up, her brains and her invulnerability.......just joking. Everyone knows which two I am talking about. We're talking about her giant Boobs. As we get into casting I think its an interesting question to ask, how important are big boobs to the character of Power Girl.

Different characters have different attributes both mentally and physically that their stories are told around. Sometimes these attributes are important, sometimes they can be changed and people won't really notice. Almost all comic characters are ridiculously fit and have Olympian level physiques that often are far beyond that of any normal human beings. Feminists have been highly critical of how female super heroes bodies are drawn and designed. While male heroes operate on idealistic level its usually based around strength, while as female characters are often hyper sexualized. The comic company's have taken this heart (To varied extents) and more realistic female portrayals have appeared on shelves though there are still plenty examples of "Cheesecake" characters. Cheesecake being a style of art that is built exclusively around hyper sexualized visuals. There is one character though that sticks out at as entirely ignoring this trend and that is Power Girl. Power Girl is known for having the same powers as Superman, having a high powered career, and also having massive boobs and revealing outfit. Power Girl's costume actually has a novelty referred to as the "Boob Window" in which her massive cleavage can be seen bursting out. Ironically, Power Girl has also been one of the most popular comic characters with female audiences, and yes even self described feminists. During this period of time Power Girls boobs have not shrunk, if anything they have actually gotten bigger. Amanda Connor the artist (A female artist) who has become famous for her work on Harley Quinn and Power Girl has not skimped at all on Power Girl's bustyness.

In my totally non scientific, anecdotal tally of the most popular DC heroes with females I would say the following is the top 3:

Harley Quinn
Nightwing
Power Girl

Yes, many female fans do read Batman but hell everybody reads Batman. Also Batgirl has bouts of popularity but really those 3 stick out to me. When I go to comic conventions and get lines for artists signatures the lines for Nightwing, Power Girl, and Harley Quinn artists tend to become heavily female. The comic company's have long tried to woo female fans and at DC I would say these are the titles that have had the most success. While I understood and even expected the Harley fans I was initially puzzled by the Power Girl female fans. I wrote off Power Girl as a Cheese Cake character with little appeal beyond middle school boys. However, I was wrong. When I actually sat down and read a Power Girl I realized there was a lot in the comic that all people could relate to. The comic while making fun of itself and had also gone meta in its own way. It was beginning to comment not just on comics but also on society and how someone like Power Girl is viewed. It was not Cheese Cake so much as it was funneling and using Cheese Cake to tell a unique story. Its not something I would have guessed, but who cares about what I or anyone thought. Girls like Power Girl and that is what matters.

One thing that should also be noticed on my list is that Nightwing is a case of a sexualized male. While there is more to the character than his butt. His butt is very important to his female fans. The comic is full of pictures of his behind and in every take down he does some how finds a way to show his butt in a similar way that female characters often are strained into revealing poses. There are actually whole tumblrs devoted to the backside of Nightwing. When Brenton Thwaites was cast as Nightwing in the Teen Titans Live Action film the internet lit up with people asking if he had the legendary butt of Dick Grayson. Searches for his butt lit up Google and trended on Twitter. Much like Power Girl, Nightwing has both male and female fans but those fans all seemed to feel that his butt was important.

Its easy to laugh at these things, and its also easy to over analyze them. As we go forward in our society in the aftermath of the #MeToo moments troubling revelations I do think its important to take the time and look at characters like Power Girl and ask what they reveal about us.

What do Power Girls huge boobs, and her female popularity tell us?

Here is my conclusion:

Women comic fans don't want all their characters to be sexpots, but they also don't want them to be all nuns. If you are creating a universe whether as a novel, comicbook, videogame or in film instead of creating a bunch of female characters that you think females want to see, instead create a bunch of diverse, and interesting characters. Power Girl has big boobs but there is more to her than her rack, part of her appeal is her constant struggle at dealing with men who oogle her, or fail to take her seriously. While she is both one of the strongest and most intelligent characters she can often face objectifying stares and lewd comments from men. While other characters ask her why she doesn't cover up, she often points out that she shouldn't have to. Other woman also treat Power Girl differently, sometimes they criticize her, other times like Harley Quinn they adore her. Many women face this everyday and they find aspects of Power Girl they can related to. This makes her story unique, and worth telling.

Its also worth noting that Power Girl seems to be immune to the various tropes of the Women in Refrigerators. She is her own woman and not used as a plot line to advance a male character. Also while she is oogled she stands up for herself and is never sexually attacked.

What if girls shockingly want the same thing male fans want. Different characters who are struggling with different problems and using different strengths to solve those problems.

Are Power Girl's boobs important to the character........I would argue yes. I am not saying an actress should have as big of boobs as Power Girl but certainly I think she should have a pair. Just like Nightwing's butt, her chest is going to be important. I would say that ideally they would find an actress with descent sized breasts and also a fit/ muscular physique.

It seems that fans have already begun casting Power Girl. Recently artwork was done of Gemma Atkinson in Power Girl garb.

Who do you want to see as Power Girl? Do you think her boobs are important? Maybe the real question is will Hollywood take the time to understand why her boobs are important and have the courage to hire an actress with them.

Some big news out of Valiant the company has been purchased by Film Maker Dan Mintz the owner of DMG entertainment. DMG entertainment is mostly known as a film company and have had a part in films such as Iron Man 3, Point Break, and Looper. The goal of DMG in the acquisition is to push the film end of the business in a similar way as Marvel has done with the MCU. It has also been announced that Valiant Chairrman Peter Cuneo, CEO/COO Dinesh Shamdasani, and CCO Gavin Cuneo are resigning as part of the deal. Both Dinesh and Gavin will have a consultant role going forward with Valiant.

Not sure how I feel about this move. While I do find the idea of Valiant films and TV shows to be awesome, I also have loved the comics this year. Really I have found Valiant comics to be the best comics of all the publishers this past year. My hope is that the quality of books that the company puts out will not be diminished by the moves here.

Ebony Maw?

If you look toward the top there is a cage with a humonoid standing. Some people think this looks like Ebony Maw of the Thanos Black Order.

Ebony Maw has been confirmed as a villain in Avengers Infinity War is it possible he was held in the Collector's warehouse and escaped during the events of Guardians of the Galaxy 1?

Is this Cocoon Adam Warlock.......likely yes..........wait no according to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 this is something else. What?

One item we saw in Thor 2 was a large Cocoon. This is likely the Cocoon housing the character Adam Warlock. My guess is he will play a part in Avengers 3. I would not be surprised to see Adam make an appearance in some way shape or form in Guardians of the Galaxy.

In the top area we see a mechanical sphere. I am not sure if this part of the museum or part of the collection.

Brood, Beasts, Groot Creatures
It also looks like some large shadows of beast can be seen. It would not surprise me if one of these is a Brood, and one is perhaps the same species as Groot.

Misc Cells with water/ plants:
There is a cell containing water, and another fauna. They are two the left and right of the collector I do not know these hold.

Red humanoid prisoner
This is the previous assistant to the collector.

Destroyer/ Collector's Battle Suit
One of the items looks like the Destroyer from the Asgard Vault. The Collector could have his own Destroyer. This could also be the Collector's mechanized suit that he uses to enhance his own powers. This could also be Galdorian Space Knight like ROM.

Toy Update SDCC 2016:
Hasbro has an Exclusive toy they are releasing for SDCC 2016 of the Collector's museum. The toy includes the characters: The Collectors, Howard the Duck, Cosmo, Moonboy and the Inhuman Lockjaw. It also includes special Marvel items like the Zodiac Key and the Casket of Many Winters.

Ant-Man and the Wasp
Marvel has some major films coming out. Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War and lets not forget Ant-Man and the Wasp. Many thought that Ant-Man was going to be the first Marvel bomb due to its trouble with production however that was not the case. The film received positive reviews and did well in the box office. This upcoming film features Ant-Man and the Wasp a female hero who has similar powers. While both characters have been overlooked at times its worth noting that both Ant-Man and Wasp were founding members of the Avengers in the comics and have loads of comic history.

Update:
Despite predictions that Ant-Man would be Marvel's first flop it has done quite well to date.
As of August 3 Ant-Man has made $300 million worldwide. It held the title of number 1 movie in America for 2 1/2 weeks before being knocked down a notch by Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. It still managed to finish above the new film Minions on its third week. It looks like an Ant-Man 2 could be in the cards.
