What is the Large Magellanic Cloud Galaxy:
The Large Magellanic Cloud Galaxy is a satellite Galaxy of the Milky Way (Earth's Galaxy). It floats in a very long away around the Milky Way. The Large Magellanic Cloud is made up of vast amounts of gas that at times collapse to form new stars. The creation of new stars combined with the gases make the Magellanic Cloud very colorful to look at.
The galaxy was first spotted by Persian astronomers in the 10th century. It was noted by being seen the explorer Magellan during his voyage around the world. It is from Magellan's notes that the galaxy was named.

Tarantula Nebula (30 Doradus)- Very bright region of space that is not a star it self but a collection of stars. It is thought that 450,000 star masses exist within the nebula some are being created and others have gone super nova.
