Just phenomenal! |
I am increasingly seeing a cycle of Comics effecting Movies which effect Comics which effect TV which effect Comics etc etc...
We live in fun times the ability of TV/Movies to begin to recreate on film what has been exclusive to print media for a 100 years is amazing.

Comic Art:
Old look: The Old Nebula was female with blue skin and flowing blue hair. Compare this to the new look where she is bald and part cybernetic. The new version looks more martial and bad ass in my opinion.

Movie Stills:
The transformation of Karen Gillan into Nebula is flat out nuts. On top of being an over the top amazingly designed character just look at the change from how she looks before and after make up. She did have to shave her head to play the character. I give her massive props as an actress for shaving her head and likely sitting through a very long make up session. The look of the character on film is simply eye popping.

COSPLAY:
Capturing Nebula's new look in COSPLAY is not easy but some brave COSPLAYERS have done a good job anyway.
Here is a recent Nebula COSPLAY by Karin Olava and it is just crazy amazing. This may be my favorite COSPLAY I have seen all year.
